Our History
After over a decade in ophthalmology, Dr. Okamoto found that working for other practices, he wasn’t able to provide the interpersonal care that he wanted to. As a result, he founded Granite Pointe Eye Care to get to know his community, and to provide them with an incredible patient experience and great vision. Now, his practice provides excellent eye care through our down-to-earth attitude and personal touch: our eye doctors get to know you just as well as they know your eyes.

We’re proud of our eye disease management, but we also recognize that certain diseases and cases require a dedicated ophthalmologist. That’s why we’re partnered with several local eye surgeons — including Mitra Ayazifar, M.D., the region’s leading oculoplastic surgeon. Dr. Mitra, and all our partner ophthalmologists, have a wealth of experience and work closely with us to do right by you.
