Experience & Education
Dr. Ralph Baker earned his Doctor of Optometry at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry. He’s been practicing optometry for over 35 years and was previously seeing patients at his own practice in Roseville prior to joining the team at Granite Pointe Eye Care.
As a passionate eye doctor, Dr. Baker loves providing customized solutions to his patients and putting them on the path to healthier eyes and clear sight. To further his commitment to his community, he’s spent the past decade volunteering his services to provide eye care for homeless veterans with Placer Veterans Stand Down.

Get to Know
Dr. Baker strives to create an inviting atmosphere for patients of all ages. He retired from the United States Air Force Reserve in August 2017, after 20 years of service with three years of active duty. During his time in the Air Force, he was proud to serve as the optometrist for the Thunderbirds. When he’s not in the office or helping homeless veterans, you can find him wood turning and spending time with his wife and grandchildren.
