Dr. Christina McGhee, O.D., earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Wheaton College in Illinois in 2017, where she combined studies in Spanish, chemistry, and applied health science. Her undergraduate work included a thesis on ocular health and nutrition in the United States and Latin America. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry, with honors, from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon in 2021.
Her training included externships in primary care, ocular disease, and refractive surgery. During her time at Pacific, she also served as a student board member for AMIGOS Eye Care, a chapter of VOSH International (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). In 2020, she received the Practice Excellence Scholarship for clinical and academic achievement from VSP Global and the American Academy of Optometry Foundation.
